Asset Management

SFI-based classification for all ship components

Included in the free Community Edition (up to 4 vessels)

SeaVesselManager Assets module showing the SFI equipment hierarchy for a vessel

What you get

Every component on board in one register, organised the way engineers think about a ship: by Ship Functional Identification (SFI). Find equipment fast, see its condition and maintenance dates, and open its full history.

🌳

SFI hierarchy

Browse a vessel's equipment by system, group and component. Expand Propulsion, then Main Propulsion Engines, and land on the exact item. Switch between grouped and flat views.

🔍

Search and filters

Search components by name, description or manufacturer, then narrow the list with column filters to find one item among thousands.

🏷️

Component card

Open any component to see its details. Rows show manufacturer, model, location, quantity and condition, plus last and next maintenance.

🕘

Job history

Review a component's completed jobs (job number, date done, name and status) and open a historical job before you plan new work.

📈

Register KPIs

Total items, total value, items needing attention, open work orders, class equipment, items with a PM schedule and SFI categories, all on top of the register.

📱

Mobile and QR access

Find equipment and read its details on mobile, or open an equipment record straight from a scanned QR link.

The backbone for maintenance and spares

The equipment register is what the rest of the system hangs on. Work orders, running hours and spare parts all reference the same SFI structure, so nothing is entered twice.

  • ✓Work orders are tied to the component and its SFI code
  • ✓Spare parts are linked to the equipment that uses them
  • ✓A Scrapped toggle keeps retired equipment out of the way
